Words cannot describe the amazing, life changing experience I had at The Orchid. I feel whole again. The variety of groups allowed me to approach all angels of life giving me a strong foundation. I now consider the staff part of my family I couldn’t have asked for a better place to heal.

Women deal with addiction, and even turn to addiction, for very different reasons to men and these differences mean that specific drug treatment programs are likely to be much more effective than a one size fits all solution that is geared towards both men and women. While many of the treatments used at the Orchid Recovery Center are similar to those of mixed sex treatment centers, women are especially responsive to communal support so as well as 12 step techniques there are group holistic treatments including art therapy and yoga therapy.

The Orchid Recovery Center is aimed solely at women that are looking for a drug free, alcohol free, and dependency free future. The techniques and methods employed by the Orchid Recovery Center don’t just aim to help remove the initial addiction but instead look at the physical, mental, and emotional side effects of rehabilitation. This long term view helps ensure that patients remain healthy throughout the process and it also helps to encourage a greater chance of leading a clean life for life.

As well as drugs including cocaine and heroine, the Orchid Recovery Center can help women that have developed a dependency on prescription drugs or alcohol. Oftentimes, the dependency itself is a symptom of another, psychological problem and by helping the patient to work through this problem in a caring environment of other women that have experienced or are experiencing similar difficulties, the Orchid Recovery Center gives its patients the greatest possible chance of a completely clean future.
